Hanoi (VNA) – National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh
Hue chaired a nationwide teleconference in Hanoi on July 15 reviewing the
elections of deputies to the 15th legislature and People’s Councils at all
levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.
In his opening speech, Hue, who is also Chairman of the
National Election Council (NEC), described the election as the country’s
significant political event that took place in a democratic and fair manner in
line with the law, ensuring safety and thriftiness. It was really a great
festival of the nation, he said.
The event was held at a time when the country experienced 75
years of independence, 35 years of renovation with important achievements of
