Hospitalized and quarantined voters cast ballots

The elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term is underway across the country on May 23. Voters who are medical workers, hospital staff, patients, and patients' relatives in hospitals, or people in quarantine due to COVID-19 are assisted to exercise their rights and obligations in safe conditions. They are required to strictly follow COVID-19 preventive measures. Vietnam has detected 5,119 COVIE-19 cases, of which 2,066 cases were reported since the fourth coronavirus wave began in April 27. Up to 179,006 people who had close contact with patients or entered from pandemic-hit areas are under quarantine. VNA Photo
