First-time voters head towards election day

For Vietnamese citizens, casting votes for National Assembly deputies and members of all-level People’s Councils, taking place every five years, is a special event, especially for those who exercise their civil rights and obligations for the first time. The upcoming elections for the 2021-2026 tenure, slated for May 23, will see a large number of young voters, including high-school students aged 18, to exercise their citizenship rights and obligations for the first time. These days, various activities and programmes have been organized in schools and localities to introduce the election process to these young voters. VNA Photo: Thùy Dung
